During the first ClayDay of the year, Shelley demonstrated how to make her beautiful Rose and Lilly beads.
Shelley's technique taught us how to experiment with 3 shades of colour for the flower petals and a Skinner blend for her Lilles. We all had fun making our own version of the flower.
Did you miss out? Make sure that you attend our upcoming ClayDay on 20th March for more exciting demos.
Our first ClayDay of the year is kicking off on Sunday the 17th of January at the usual meeting place.
Shelley will be doing a demo on how to make these gorgeous floral beads that make the most enchanting pieces of clay jewellery.
The Rose bead will be demonstrated in the morning and the Waterlily bead will be demonstrated in the afternoon. Turn them into whimsical accessories and necklaces.
As usual, we will also have a raffle that will include a special craft prize (contributions for raffle prizes are also welcomed)
Please remember that you can sell/swap any of your unwanted tools and clay. You can also loan tools (Lucy Slicer, etc.) on the day from our tool library. We also encourage all of our members to bring any surplus craft materials that they have to share with members on that day.
Have you made something interesting over the holidays? Make sure you bring it along for the 'Show and Tell' table.
To RSVP please email firstname.lastname@example.org and more information here
Hope to see you there!
