For the first part of the day, Enid showed us different ways to paint and decorate cured polymer clay. She used various techniques and gorgeous colour palettes for this demonstration. We never thought that a set of marker pens from the pound store can make such gorgeous colours! Enid also showed her colour recipe chart. The remaining clay is made into colour chips with the colour recipe number. It was such a brilliant idea! This will make it easier for you to decide which colours to go together. After lunch, Nadia showed us how to make a rainbow coloured Skinner blend with only 4 colours! The colour gradient was so bright and pretty. We also had our usual tables - 'Trash to treasure', 'Show & Tell', Tool Library, raffle and more. On the next ClayDay on 15th May, Penny from Clay Around (www.clayaround.com) will be attending and bringing some tools for sale. She will even do a demo for one of the clay tools.
