Fourteen people came to the Clayday on May 23rd. It was a lovely sunny day and we had a great time. There were two different fascinating demos. 

Enid showed us how to make an extruded cane and then Carrie demonstrated the Sutton Slice. Enid also gave an account of the Eurosynergy conference in Malta and showed her photos. It was an amazing event with many well known polymer clay artists there.

Lots of us tried out the techniques demonstrated and were delighted with the results. Thank you Carrie and Enid! Meanwhile the Guild Tool Library is proving very popular for people to borrow tools.

We have postponed the judging of the votive competition until our Clayday on Sunday July 20th. More details of that shortly!
