All of our members produced beautiful designs. We also welcomed some new members and hope that they will attend future ClayDay meetings and get to improve their knowledge in polymer clay. This is a reminder that our full-day workshop on 18th September with Jayne Rozario is only 2 weeks away. We invited jewellery maker Jayne Rozario to conduct a special workshop for us, exclusively for guild members so you do not want to miss out!
Jayne will be teaching us how to make Mokume Gane to make lovely jewellery. You will need to bring: -7 of your favourite/contrasting colours of clay approx 1/4 block each. OR two colours with a block of white to blend. -Some white -A block of colour or black for backing -Some small cutters for making patterns and any other textures, patterning tools you would like to try. -Large cutters or your favourite template for pendants earring etc. We will also be conducting our usual ClayDay activities such as the raffle, 'Trash to Treasure', guild sales and Show and Tell.
