We're looking forward to sharing more great ideas in Polymer Clay in 2013 starting with our next Clay Day on Sunday 20th January. More details for the day will be posted soon. Hope to see you there. ![]() Sue Heaser writes "Hello Everyone, I had a lovely day at the British Polymer Clay Guild 15th Anniversary Party on Saturday. There was some wonderful work on display and this piece is by Fiona Abel-Smith. Her website is here: http://www.fionaabel-smith.co.uk/- well worth a visit!" ![]() Sue Heaser will be going to the British Polymer Clay Guild anniversary party in Sutton Colefield on Nov 24th. They would like us to have a table there, so can we remind you all to bring some pc work to the Newmarket fair so that Sue can take it to the event for the display table? Please label any pieces that you bring – and give a card too if you like, to display beside your pieces. If you need them back quickly, they can be posted or you can collect from Sue. Otherwise, Sue will bring them back at our meeting in January. http://www.bpcg.org.uk/bpcg-15th-anniversary-party---2012.html Terry has sent us a photo of her lovely first mosaic using the technique from Sue's demo. Here's what she says: ![]() "I am sending a picture of my first attempt at polymer mosaic following the tutorial Sue showed us at the October meeting. I had a little metal trinket box that I picked for a few pence at a charity shop. Whatever had decorated the lid originally had long gone, so I designed my seahorse picture to replace it. I still need lots of practise to get a real feel for the technique, but I certainly had fun doing it." Looks great Terry, let's have more photos from everyone!
