The next Clay Day session is only a week away. Make sure you RSVP your place for a full sunny day of Claying.
There will be 2 demonstrations including:
Silk Screen Demonstration by Anne.
Items to bring:
Clay
Acrylic paint
Mica powder
Any silk screens
Squeegee or old credit card
Shallow container e.g. plastic take away container - to wash silk screen
If anyone wants to make a pendant - round cutter, texture sheet and light bulb or rounded baking form
'Striped Canes and some ideas of what to do with' them by Carrie
Items to bring:
Roller/pasta machine
Sharp clay blade
Three or more contrasting colours of clay are required
Nadia will also be reviewing the latest supplies from Sculpey/Polyform including:
Design it Templates
Gold and Silver Liquid Sculpey
Clay Decals
She will also bring along the new Sculpey clay colours for 2015 for us to see.
We would also love to have new volunteers for demonstrations so please let us know if you would like to do a demo even if it is a short one.
To help APCG members promote their work, we will be listing members website address on the APCG website. You will need to pass the website address directly to any of the committee member during the meeting.
